A THIRD NAPEI AWARD FOR THE R.E.A.L EDUCATION GROUP'S FLAGSHIP SCHOOL
On June 5th 2010, our multi-award winning Sekolah Seri Suria added yet another feather to its cap by bagging its third NAPEI Education Excellence Award (School category) during the official opening ceremony of the 29th Malaysian Education Fair 2010 organized by NAPEI Malaysia.
The ceremony - which was held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) - began with the arrival of guests and media, followed by the arrival of Guest of Honour - Y.B. Dato' Saifuddin Abdullah, Deputy Minister of Higher Education Malaysia. The ceremony proper then commenced with a 'Welcome Speech' by the President of NAPEI, Assoc. Prof. Elajsolan Mohan. Following that was the 'Opening Speech' by Y.B. Dato' Saifuddin who, in his speech, touched on what he calls the '2Ms of Education' - namely 'Meaning' and 'Meritocracy'.
After the speeches, came the main part of the ceremony which was the Presentation of the NAPEI Education Excellence Awards 2009. Sekolah Seri Suria was eventually announced as the winner of the 'School' category, thus effectively claiming its third win after receiving similar recognition in 2003 and 2007. The School Principal, Ms. S.P.Lee, was present to duly accept the award from Y.B. Dato' Saifuddin.
This latest accolade is further testament to Sekolah Seri Suria's unwavering commitment towards excellence in providing quality education. This ISO certified school also has a long-standing reputation of being an innovative, forward-thinking and character-driven academic institution.
