1986 January
The school started in a rented bungalow in Taman Cuepacs. There were 40 students attending pre-school, primary and secondary sections. |

1992 January
The school expanded to fill up 2 neighbouring bungalows. Meanwhile, the company had purchased a 9 acre land and construction was at its final phases of completion. |

1992 December
Relocation to the newly completed [Block B] school and the new academic session started in December that year. [For the 1993 academic session, the Government advanced it to start in December 1992, instead of January 1993. However, this change was discontinued two years later] |

1996 January
Block A opened to house the Front Office & Administrative Office, the Primary section, CEC, Library, Canteen and a Gymnasium. Block B housed the Secondary section and various facilities.As Education Ventures grew, it was necessary to corporatise its operation. The Vision & Mission statements were adopted in 1997. Strategic planning really focused the group's direction towards its goal. It was necessary to change the old name of Sekolah Sang Suria to Sekolah Seri Suria when the setting up of the 2nd school was at hand. |

2001 June
The opening of Block C further expanded Seri Suria with more classrooms and facilities for the secondary section. This block brings the capacity of the school to 1,350 |

2002
The school was awarded the ISO 9001-2000 alongside its sister-school, Sekolah Seri Cahaya, CEC centres operation and the Head Office operations. As a matter of fact, CEC was entered into the Malaysian Book of Records as the 1st Kindergarten in Malaysia to be awarded the ISO certification. |

2003
This was truly a year of awards:- The Ministry of Education presented the school with the Academic Excellence Award [2002/2003]- NAPEI (National Associate of Private Educational Institutions) awarded Seri Suria with the Academic Exellence Award [2002/2003] |

2006 January
Official venue for the 30 Hour Famine charity by World Vision. Donations are given to the Northern Thai Children Development Fund
Completion of a new access road to Sekolah Seri Suria to stop congestion in the residential neighborhood. |

2007 December
Completion of a new block which houses the Hall of Character, pre-school section and the REAL International School

Inaugural Drama Presentation of “Phantom of the Opera” attended by 3500 spectators. All proceeds go to the “National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM). |
